Challenge When a company is sanctioned by the government and subjected to administrative intervention, the resulting stress and shock can halt production, significantly impacting society. To address this issue, we developed a strategy for a law firm to help companies manage and reduce stress in these situations. Through interviews with sanctioned companies, we identified key pain points and areas where businesses need insight to alleviate stress. By creating visual representations of the impacts and processes involved, we aimed to provide a comprehensive, cross-functional understanding of the effects of administrative sanctions. Approach 1. Analyzing clients and prospects: We began by analyzing the needs and profiles of our existing clients and potential new prospects. This involved understanding their specific legal challenges, the nature of the sanctions they faced, and their operational contexts. 2. Mapping legal operations: Next, we mapped out the legal operations of these companies. This detailed mapping helped us identify critical areas affected by sanctions and the interdependencies within the company's legal and operational frameworks. 3. Prioritization of legal journeys: We prioritized the various legal journeys that companies go through when facing sanctions. By ranking these processes in order of urgency and impact, we were able to focus our efforts on the most crucial areas first. 4. Designing solutions: With the priorities set, we designed tailored solutions to address the identified pain points. These solutions included visual tools such as flowcharts, impact graphs, and interactive diagrams that clearly illustrated the sanction process and its effects on different departments. 5. Development of MVPs, Templates, and Workflows: We developed Minimum Viable Products (MVPs), templates, and workflows to implement our designed solutions. These tools provided practical, actionable steps for companies to follow, helping them navigate the complexities of sanctions more effectively. 6. Testing The solutions were then tested with a select group of companies to ensure their effectiveness. We gathered feedback and made necessary adjustments to refine the tools and processes, ensuring they met the needs of the companies involved. 7. Presentation and publication: Finally, we presented our findings and solutions to a broader audience. This included detailed reports, visual aids, and interactive presentations that demonstrated the impact and effectiveness of our strategy. A 300+ Entertainment Company saved many hours through using a new toolkit on quarterly legal stats
Challenge For a well-known entertainment company, we addressed the frustration and confusion surrounding quarterly reports. The board and managers were relying on a massive, unwieldy Excel file, which continually grew with new cases and issues. This made it difficult to extract critical financial provisions or necessary actions, causing delays and stagnation in business operations. Solution To tackle this issue, we developed interactive PDF models with easy-to-use sliders to indicate urgency, financial provisions, and follow-up actions. These user-friendly tools simplified the process of identifying key information, allowing for more efficient decision-making and task management. Approach Discovery We initiated a brief discovery phase with the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Board. This involved interviews and workshops to understand their pain points and requirements. Concept development: Based on the discovery phase, we created two initial concepts for the new reporting system. These concepts were designed to address the specific needs identified during our discussions. Testing We tested the concepts with a select group of users, gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments. This iterative process ensured that the final product was both effective and user-friendly. Implementation After refining the concepts, we delivered the final interactive PDF models. These tools streamlined the reporting process, making it easier for the board and managers to stay informed and act promptly on financial provisions and follow-up actions. Impact The organization has successfully integrated the new quarterly report system, significantly reducing confusion and improving workflow efficiency. Impressed by the results, they have requested similar models and templates for other business processes. This project alleviated the frustration around quarterly reporting and demonstrated the value of clear, interactive tools in enhancing overall business performance.
Increased student engagement by transforming traditional study material with AI and visuals
Challenge In our latest educational project, we reimagined traditional study materials by integrating advanced visual aids to enhance learning efficiency. Conventional textbooks, often dense with text, were transformed into visually engaging resources. We incorporated infographics, interactive diagrams, and animated videos to make complex topics more accessible and appealing. For example, a detailed chapter on human anatomy was converted into a series of interactive models and step-by-step animated guides. This shift not only made the learning process more enjoyable but also allowed students to grasp intricate details more quickly and deeply. To evaluate the effectiveness of this innovative approach, we conducted a thorough testing phase with 30 students. These students used the new visual-based materials for a semester. The results were compelling: students using the visual tools demonstrated a 3-6 times deeper understanding of the content and completed their studies significantly faster. The visual materials enabled students to visualize and internalize complex concepts, resulting in a more profound and lasting grasp of the subject matter. We also gathered qualitative feedback through interviews with the participating students. They consistently reported that the visual materials made the learning experience more engaging and less intimidating. Many highlighted that the visual aids helped them connect theoretical knowledge with practical applications more effectively. This feedback confirmed that our innovative approach not only accelerated learning but also enhanced overall educational satisfaction. By transforming traditional study materials into visually rich learning tools, we have set a new standard for educational resources, proving that innovative design can significantly impact learning outcomes.
